See what happens when Delmar McKutcheon and Alan West face off in this modern-day western showdown. Who will walk home the victor? Who will learn his lesson in accuracy?

Cooter...HA!
A cowboy hat does not make a western...neither does a bolo tie.

Fun, but not a western.
Excellent credits; especially the Gordon Ramsay reference.

Good premise and structure.
Improv was weak at many points; should be stronger if most of the film is resting on it.

Good use of line; actually sounded like something a sports caster might say.
Good use of prop.
Very well directed.
Good song over end titles and music throughout.

Very nice film and great green screen shots.
The story line was a nice twist for us closet HSP's (horseshoe pitchers). It is about time our story is heard!!!!
I can't wait for U2............

Keep up the great work and hope you win.

Interesting movie. I like the way the metaphor between old-west showdowns and modern-day horseshoe tournaments is established in the beginning sequence. I was a little confused when the "western" movie suddenly became an ESPN-like television show, but then I thought that is probably fairly realistic for the topic of horseshoes. It most likely would be a televised event. I think a small flaw in the story is the prize for winning such a "prestigious" event as the World Series of Horseshoes is only a "Golden Belt Buckle"... perhaps a cash prize of say... $1 million would be better? Another point I'd like to make is that the Alan West character's throw did indeed have a huge hang-time. I don't believe it is possible for a human to actually toss a horseshoe that high and get it to the post, at least not with any accuracy. That little bit of "movie magic" should have been left out. That slow motion shot to win the event was obviously a visual effect of some kind.

Regardless of these critical points I thoroughly enjoyed the film. It made me want to play horseshoes immediately!

Nice job to all involved!
